I especially appreciate how John and Doris Naisbitt describe the legitimacy of the government as performance-based. Makes great sense. More akin to a corporate management structure than outdated perceptions of what we think we know. Also eerily parallels influence of large corporations on society and culture in the West. Makes me want to get on a plane, set up a business and find out for myself.

I look forward to reading Peter Navarro’s The Coming China Wars and seeing if the ideas fit the framework China’s Megatrends lays out.
